The Bridge To Your Future

Bridges connect one side of a particular place to another. They come in many forms, ranging from wood, to stone, to metal. They provide a path for pedestrians, cars and bikes alike, and even vary in size and color. In a different realm, bridges also serve as a means to reach our goals.

Ask yourself what the bridge to your future looks like?

Have you planned, groomed yourself and laid the foundation to get there? If not, act today. Consider your next step and prepare to take stride! God has created you with a specific purpose in mind. He desires to help you reach your future goals. Allow Him to guide you, so that you can begin the process towards your destiny today. The bridge to your future has your name written all over it. Will you take the first step?

Light Is Just Up Ahead

Jenna has been given an assignment to complete. As she walks the path, she notices that the light appears to get brighter and brighter as the road continues uphill. She smiles as she thinks back to all the rough terrain she’s already covered. She feels strength enter her body again. Her back straightens up, and she takes a few additional steps. Jenna knows that destiny is just around the corner. She remembers all the times she wanted to give in, or up, but decided not to. Can it be that payoff is just up ahead? Jenna continues on with great expectation.

If you are in pursuit of a dream, don’t allow fatigue to overtake you. Find new ways to re-energize, so that you can secure the prize that awaits you. It is impossible for the journey to be pleasant at each turn. You will need reinforcement. Surround yourself with other like- minded individuals, and work diligently to keep a positive attitude. Continue on, light is just up ahead!

Markers In The Road

Chelsey locates a pile of photo albums on the shelf. She dusts them off, then pulls one out from the middle. The journey- seeker begins to flip through in search of times past. She discovers a cluster of photos from a previous mission’s trip. Chelsey smiles as she remembers the assignment. The picture was a reflection of yet another, marker in the road.

The journey is full of experiences, filled with highs and lows. This particular photo mentioned above, reminded the savvy traveler of a joyful moment. She was able to take herself back to a place of peace and tranquility. In the hustle and bustle of life, it is important to create markers. They help you through adverse situations because you can steal away to regroup. The mountain tops were created to carry you through the valleys. Whether you are struggling professionally or personally today, think back to a time where you were blessed to experience a “win.” How did it make you feel? How can it help you through today? Motivation is key. The only thing constant in life is change. With that being said, it is imperative that you find creative ways to encourage yourself. It’s time you look back at your markers in the road. When you do this, you’ll realize just how many battles you’ve already overcome.

Mountains and Valleys

In order to reach the peak of the mountain, you will have to drive through some valleys . It is impossible to reach the top without making the journey upside. The path will appear dark at times and without a clear view. This is part of the process, and it won’t last forever. The fog will evetually lift and light will shine through. Stay on path and continue moving forward. Before long, you’ll reach the top.

Don’t allow the rough terrain of the valley to discourage you. IMG_20130830_174836
